Connecting Your Donation with Local Needs for a Brighter Future

Our mission, our story, and why this work matters locally.

How we started

In 2020, a group of community advocates in Denver discovered a startling truth: numerous hardworking residents were eligible for vital benefits but remained unenrolled. The team realized that many families in neighborhoods like Five Points and Westwood struggled to navigate the maze of assistance programs like SNAP and Health First Colorado. They saw an opportunity to bridge this gap by creating a local vehicle-donation program that could not only provide much-needed funding but also connect these residents with essential benefits.

With this insight, Ride Revive was born. By transforming unused vehicles into resources, the program began to support its mission of promoting local benefits awareness. The community rallied behind the idea, making it clear that vehicle donation could be a powerful catalyst for change, driving both funding for essential services and a sense of unity within Denver’s rich tapestry of neighborhoods.

Why this city

Denver is a city of contrasts, with vibrant neighborhoods like Capitol Hill, Aurora, and Montbello that host diverse demographics. Despite the city's growth, many residents face challenges accessing benefits enrollment, often due to systemic barriers or lack of awareness. Programs like WIC and LEAP play crucial roles in supporting families, yet significant enrollment gaps remain. By focusing our efforts here, Ride Revive aims to ensure that every Denverite has a fair shot at utilizing the resources available to them.
